Designing for global exchange means making a decades-old brand feel fresh without breaking what already works. As an in-house designer for EF’s High School Exchange Year program, I worked across digital, print, merch, and video—basically, if it had a surface, I probably designed for it.

Some days, that meant fine-tuning brand standards. Other days, it meant overhauling EF’s social presence, launching a merch store, or designing print campaigns that landed in the hands of thousands. The balance? Keeping things on-brand without making them boring.

The goal was never just to make things look good — it was to perpetuate a brand experience that felt consistent, purposeful, and built to last. Whether on a hoodie, a YouTube thumbnail, or the main stage at EF’s biggest annual event, every touchpoint reinforced what EF stands for.
